News and the Waiting Game

Ok, first off, sorry about the lack of update last week. I've had to focus on a few of my other projects, so my applogies for the skipped update. To give you an idea of what all else I do, I've been working on commissions, getting the GCG Studios main page updated (still working on it), coloring Hero Fantasy Club (a 6 issue miniseries being released by Angle Gate press sometime either late this year or early next year so far as I know), scripting Finder's Keepers (coming late 2008), and continuing all the other work behind Comedity that isn't actual comic stuff. So, busy times. I still shouldn't have missed that update, but alas, things happen.

I can report that the number of pre-orders for Comedity Volume One have increased nicely. Currently my publisher is waiting to hear back from some printers. We should have a final call on these books made by the end of the week. Let's keep our fingers crossed, and if you want in on this thing there is absolutely NO better time to order than right now.

In other news, I'll be attending Katsucon in February and Anime Boston in March. If you guys can make it to Katsu, there's a really awesome Contest of Epic Webcomic proportions going on. Who can say no to a small mountain of free webcomic swag? I mean really now?
