Whirling Dervish

If it's not one thing it's another. The week before last (11th-17th) I was finishing off a street furniture project for the town of Floyd. It was a two week project that gave us a break from this huge 13 week project we've been working on in studio. With any luck at all we'll (it's a group project) feel good enough about it in the end to enter it in the IDEA competition. IDEA is quite possibly the most prestigious industrial design competition out there. So here's hoping.

Saturday I went down to NC State to take part in a portfolio reivew being held there. It took up my entire day, but I found it quite worth while. I was all but offered an internship, which makes me very happy. However that means I need to tweak my portfolio and resume to best showing within the next three weeks.

I've also spent more time than I'd like getting no where on this story I'm writing for class. When I have something resembling a rough draft I'll post in on the forums incase anyone is interested.

The girl in the above image is still incomplete, having started her something like three weeks ago, but only having enought time to work on her for maybe 3 days. That bugs me. I really want to get her done.

Once again, I'm sorry for the delay and the lack of funny. I'll try to get another one out this week, but I can't make promises. My life seems to have hit chaos level 9. The comic will resume, I promise, but only once I don't have so much else that i have to work on.
