Happy Birthday to Everyone!

Woo. Ok, so I had kind of a long weekend going here, and am only just have access to my computer for nearly a week. So, it's time for some updates!

First off, I just got back from Anime Boston tuesday night. The con was a great one. Many thanks to all the people who showed up and stopped by to say hellos. I managed to catch a lot of what I've come to think of as my webcomic crew. I rocked out with Mookie. I hung with Hawk & Ananth + Shannon, and even managed to spend some time with the magnificent Katy. The Applegeeks pannel (where the penguin put on a power bandana and got up on stage with them) was awesome, and full of very interesting questions. Not the least of which was "what kind of fruit would you be?" Brian, Sketch, other Brian (Shawn had to man their table) and myself crashed the "how to create a successful webcomic pannel, which was great fun. I even got a few moments to chat with Aido, and a whole other bunch of people who were there. You know who you are!

As some of you may know, most of the time at cons, I'm behind a table.

But what you might not know is what the penguin does durring cons...

There are many more such images, and I think I'm going to have to create a gallery for them quite soon. I'll keep you all posted on the progress of the Penguin Adventures.

Lastly, but not leastly ... if that's a word, there were a couple of birthdays this weekend. Karen's birthday was monday. And while I could not, unfortunately, join her for it, I am told that she had a good time at the beach. Crowie (known to many con-goers as Crowiko: that scarry girl with the chibi killstick) had her birthday sunday. And all I can say about her party is that there's nothing quite like an exploding cake.

Oh! And I almost totally spaced on two important facts. Both City Limits and Shirt 47 are now no longer on pre-order but are regularly available. And I've got to say, the City Limits book? Totally sweet. It's amazing. Many congrats and thanks to everyone who worked on the book, you all rock. Special thanks to Katy and George for making it possible.

Welcome to the Comedity. Don't step on the Penguin.
