Can you do the shuffle?
Hey guys! I'm not entirely certain how familiar people are with the very early pages of comedity at this point, but I hadn't looked at them, I mean really looked at them in ages. It kinda hurts to look at, actually. It shocked me even more when I actually opened the photoshop file for that first strip, only to find just how many unnecessary layers I actually used. My god, it's kinda embarassing. But hey, that's time and myself making a fool of me, as per usual. Change really is amazing stuff. Takes us places we never expected to be, turns us into people we never imagined ourselves capable of becoming, and yet through all of it one ultimately feels like they really haven't changed. You're still you. I'm stil me. Despite the fact that neither of us are who we used to be. Funny how that works, huh?
This weekend begins the great Conneti-Otakon Shuffle! It's a great new dance routine, first you shuffle up to Hartford for Conneticon, which I'm very much looking forward to. And then you shuffle down to Baltimore for the enormous Otakon. It's going to be one hell of a ride, doing major back to back conventions like this. I'll be doing a couple of pannels at Connecticon, including an advanced photoshop technique pannel and a pannel on awesome comic books. They're both late pannels on friday, so be sure to check 'em out if you'll be at Connecticon this weekend. I'm told that Conneticon is sharing the convention center with a national juggling competition/convention thing. Obviously I'm going to have to take my balls and do a smidgin of public contact juggling throughout the convention center. I also have a super-secret something special that I hope to have for you all at Otakon. I'll let you know all about it as soon as I have pictures... until then... oooooh suspense!
I'm going to have to forewarn you all, that the next two updates are likely to be delayed, because of the back to back major conventions. Oh, there'll be updates, don't you worry. They may just show up late monday or tuesday for their respective weeks. I'm trying to get ahead so that these cons won't disrupt the schedual too much, but I know what cons usually do to my update schedual. So, you have been warned.
Also, if you haven't noticed, the site is now updated! All the sub-pages, the cast page, the links page, the store all now match the main page! Also it's all coded in CSS, which is pretty slick stuff. So, I'd like to take a moment to thank Kyle for writing the script up for me.
Welcome to the Comedity. Don't step on the Penguin.
