A Conventioning We'll Go
Whew... Well, I'm back from Portcon, folks, and it was fantastic. It's always good to see people, and Portcon is a right friendly little convention. I also had the pleasure of having excellent company for the drive both up and down. It's a long road trip, and good company makes all the difference. Katy, Dave and I drove up Thursday, partied hard and con-ed out all weekend, and then Katy and I began the journey home, leaving Dave in Maine where he belongs. Maybe he'll update again now. While portconning it up, dodging zombies, licensing new artists, and mixing various substances that should not be mixed, I met up with all manner of good folk. Most of whom, now that I think about it, only sorta, kinda update. Not all of them, of course, some do update, some of them like surfing mad men.
I also have recently gotten to see how the second issue of Spwug came out, and it's very nice. It's villains this time around, and so I of course contributed accordingly... though I've had to promise Katy to contribute some sexy scantily clad men for issue 3 to balance my entries for issue 1 and 2. Apparently there's a haiku contest for issue 3, open to anyone and everyone I should point out.
Anywho, I should apologize for the lateness of the comic. Despite having the black and whites all ready to go for Monday, I got caught up in a small bout of con plague and didn't get around to actually uploading it until earlier this afternoon. My apologies. Color should be up sometime this week. There truly is just no rest for the wicked; I have other diabolical plans to delve into immediately. Bwahaha!
Welcome to the Comedity. Don't step on the Penguin.
